OPEN TO MILITARY, CAM SPONSORS, SPECIAL GUESTS BY INVITATION ONLY.
Please join us for the official opening of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Celebrate America’s Military” presented by The Boeing Company and hosted at Morgan’s Wonderland on Wednesday, October 31st from 11:00am to 2:00pm. This unique event celebrates the spirit and resiliency of those wounded in military service and of civilians who also face daunting physical challenges – but who all demonstrate the undying spirit to overcome….and succeed.
There will be a fun and exciting exhibition wheelchair basketball game involving disabled veterans from ParaSports and participants in the Morgan’s Wonderland STRAPS (South Texas Regional Adaptive and Paralympic Sports) program. Playing alongside these athletes will be representatives of the local business community and our valued CAM partnering organizations.
The event will also include guest speakers with lunch provided.

SENIOR ENLISTED SERVICE MEMBERS.
In honor of the members of San Antonio’s senior enlisted service, the San Antonio Chamber will host a reception to recognize the critical roles that SNCO’s play in the readiness, morale and success of our nation’s military. Join us at Texas’ oldest VFW Post on the San Antonio river to salute and thank our senior enlisted service members. Spouses are encouraged to attend this reception. Dress is business casual for civilians and uniform of the day for military. Event is invite only for the business community.
All Active Duty Senior Enlisted Personnel in Uniform will receive a raffle opportunity.

Perhaps San Antonio’s most patriotic event of the year, the Chamber’s Annual Spirit of America Dinner pays tribute to the men and women of our Nation’s military. Join us for our annual highlight event during Celebrate America’s Military for a moving recognition of active duty military personnel and veterans, and an inspiring address.

This Veterans Day, we invite you to celebrate veterans and commemorate San Antonio’s long military history at the Alamo. All visitors are encouraged to stop by Cavalry Courtyard on the Alamo grounds this Veterans Day to commemorate and thank those who have selflessly served.

The U.S. Military Veterans Parade Association is proud to present the annual Veterans Parade in downtown San Antonio on Sunday, Nov. 11, during the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce's Celebrate America's Military (CAM) Week. You are invited to join us for the annual wreath-laying ceremony at the Tobin Center at 10 a.m. Representatives from each branch of the military services and special guests speak briefly then carry wreaths to the entrance of the Alamo in recognition of the nation's and Texas veterans. The parade steps off soon after at noon. Join us by lining the downtown streets and waving your American flag, showing your pride as you honor veterans past and present, who unselfishly served or serve to defend us and our freedom - one nation under God - and the freedom of others around the world.

Bexar County Buffalo Soldiers Commemorative Ceremony
Location: San Antonio National Cemetery, 517 Paso Hondo St.
Comprised of former slaves, freedmen and Black Civil War veterans, the historic Buffalo Soldiers persevered through the most difficult conditions imaginable to become some of the most elite and most decorated units in the U.S. Army. The annual Bexar County Buffalo Soldiers Commemorative Ceremony at the San Antonio National Cemetery honors these past heroes with a keynote speaker, the reading of a memorial list, military honors and taps, and a benediction.
